Woodstock of Ascot Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you and any changes will take effect on the day they are posted. Any such changes will be posted on this section of the website and your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to be bound by the prevailing terms and conditions. You will be requested to read and accept these terms and conditions every time you place an order. MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All items are to be paid for when the order is placed. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post or alternatively you may send a cheque direct to us. Any order paid for by cheque will not be sent until the cheque has cleared.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

All items are available for home delivery. For smaller items we may arrange courier delivery. Any item purchased can be collected from store once you have received confirmation your item has arrived. If you select collection on your order but wish to change to delivery you can contact us and we will alter your order for you.
We will process all orders immediately. Once the item is available for delivery or collection you will be contacted direct to arrange a delivery or collection date.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

TAX CHARGES

For orders made from the UK or the European Union 20% VAT is added. If you are planning to send the items to another non EU country within 3 months of ordering you will not need to pay VAT. Please contact us with export details.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

RETURNS POLICY

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to a statutory cooling off period beginning from the date you placed the order online and ending 14 days after you have received the goods. Certain goods are exempt from this cooling off period, for example a mattress which has been taken out of its sealed packaging in which it was delivered, and bespoke items. You must inform us of any cancellation during this cooling off period by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. If the item requires collection by us you will be liable for the cost. You will be notified of this charge prior to you confirming you would like to cancel the order. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

EXHIBITION CANCELLATION POLICY

All orders placed at exhibitions or shows are not subject to cancellation unless otherwise agreed at point of sale.

All payments made are non-refundable.

Access for delivery of the goods is the full responsibility of the customer.

All goods remain property of Woodstock of Ascot Ltd until paid in full.

All goods must be paid in full prior to delivery.
